The Guides

 The key to being a successful and consistent fisherman is time spent on the water.  Having an intimate knowledge of the waters you fish is instrumental in your success. Utilizing a variety of techniques garnered through extensive experience our guide service will provide you with not only a successful fishing experience but a unique history of the area.  Rodbenders Guide Service is comprised of Lyle Chapman, Lyle Chapman Jr, and Steve Roginske.  With over 105 years of experience there isn't a trio that comes close to these men's experience. 

Fishing:  The Minocqua, Woodruff, Lac Du Flambeau, Boulder Junction, and Manitowish Waters.  Fishing lakes in Vilas, Oneida and Iron Counties.  Rodbenders, welcomes the beginner or experienced anglers along with kids!  Our three guides, Steve Roginske, Lyle Chapman Jr, and Lyle Chapman have over 105 years of experience fishing:  Muskie, Walleye, Bass, and Panfish.

Lyle Chapman

 

Lyle has been guiding for over 40 years and is a Lac Du Flambeau resident.  He has experience on over 100 different area lakes and specializes in Walleye, Bass and Pan Fish. Lyle Has fished the Flambeau Chain all his life and covers area lakes in Minocqua.                                                                                   

       Lyle Chapman Jr

Lyle Jr. has followed in his fathers footsteps guiding the area lakes.  He has grown up on the Flambeau chain and covers the lakes in Vilas and Onieda counties.  Lyle is a multi species guide catching Walleye, Bass, Muskie and Pan Fish.

With 35 years of experience, Steve is a multi species angler and will lead you to the best bite depending on the time of the season.  Steve has extensive knowledge of over 100 lakes in the north woods to fit your needs
